Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or professional engineer certification is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience successfully managing complex OSP FTTH design projects.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive the delivery of the overall OSP FTTH design project.
• Monitor design progress, oversee design scheduling, and track design status to schedule.
• Interface with the client’s design team and provide regular status updates to the JSI Project Manager.
• Coordinate with the field construction team to ensure design plans are understood and followed.
• Attend meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report progress and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive the delivery of the overall OSP FTTH design project.
• Monitor design progress, oversee design scheduling, and track design status to schedule.
• Will interface with the client’s design team. Build strong working relationships by providing regular status updates to the JSI Project Manager and facilitating design alignment meetings.
• Coordinate closely with the field construction team to ensure design plans are understood and followed.
• Attend regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on progress and manage risks.
• This position is integral to our vision, strategy, and overall growth plans and requires strong leadership, people skills, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or professional engineer certification is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience successfully managing complex OSP FTTH design projects.
• A high degree of professionalism and integrity.
• Strong sense of urgency. Agile in fast-paced environments, multi-tasking, and project reprioritization.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as listening and interpretation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams).
• Experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and other GIS platforms.
• This position requires U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
