Job summary

IQ Fiber is seeking a Manager, Outside Plant Engineering to lead planning, design, and execution of fiber OSP construction and maintenance. You will direct cross‑functional teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance for high‑quality network deployment.

This hands‑on leadership role requires deep knowledge of fiber construction, splicing, network architecture, and OSP documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a fiber construction environment.
• Deep knowledge of fiber networks, splicing, OSP documentation, and construction techniques.
• Experience managing outside plant contractors, including quality oversight and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead OSP team including supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee FTTP construction projects, including field surveys and cost development.
• Coordinate in-house and contractor resources, manage invoices, and ensure quality work.
• Support 24/7/365 operations, outages, and emergency response.
