Job summary

The role collaborates with production, quality and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and support new product introductions, while leading Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field.
• 1 year manufacturing experience; internships or co-ops count.
• Knowledge of extrusion, polymer processing is a plus.
• Familiar with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and improve manufacturing processes for fiber optic cable production.
• Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Provide technical support to production teams for process-related issues.
