The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of related experience, an understanding of fiber optics and electronic systems, and may hold NFPA or Gallagher/ONSSI system familiarity. On-call and emergency response may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of the eighth grade and four years of progressively responsible electrical maintenance and repair experience.
• The preferred candidate will have a high school diploma and five years of experience installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing electronic systems.
• Certifications or licenses related to electrical/electronic systems are a plus.

• Plans for installs, maintains, tests, and repairs electronic equipment.
• Oversees and maintains electronic equipment and control devices.
• Reviews electronic contract specifications.
• Plans for integration of new electronic systems.
• Plans for cable wiring and fiber optics installations.
• Troubleshoots electronic equipment, replaces components as needed.
• Keeps records concerning electronic equipment.
• Assists with Electrician duties.
• Cross-trains with other facilities personnel as needed.
• Assists IT department with electronic planning, repair and cable installation.
• Responds to emergency situations and works on call as needed.
