Job summary

Conexon, LLC is seeking a field technician to install, maintain, and repair FTTX broadband and voice services in Camila, GA. The role supports inventory control, wiring, and quality checks across the territory.

The candidate should be able to lift up to 100 pounds, operate a company vehicle, and climb poles up to 25 feet. This full-time position includes overtime and a fixed schedule, with travel within Camila, GA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• P.C. and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to use optical test equipment including fusion splicers and OTDRs.
• Safely operate a company vehicle.
• Strong communication skills.
• Initiative to work remotely with limited supervision.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Physically able to lift 100 pounds.
• Safely working from ladders and ability to climb poles to 25’.

Responsibilities

• Installing FTTX broadband service to residential and commercial customers.
• Assures customer services are restored after trouble ticket dispatch.
• Completing both interior and exterior cabling of fiber optic and category ethernet cables.
• Documenting assignment of inventory within inventory system.
• Track progress of feeder construction.
• Communicate with field personnel to assure inventory levels are sufficient.
• Reconciling inventory.
• Updating equipment associated with customers.
• Documenting process and procedure.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
