Job summary

Wire 3 is seeking a Field Technician in Macon, GA to install and service fiber optic networks. You will be among the first contacts with customers to ensure a seamless installation and an exceptional experience.

The role requires working with fiber hardware, cables, and test equipment, plus the ability to read prints and follow routing directions. A high school diploma and valid license are preferred, with weekend/extended hours possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; college or technical training is a plus.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable testing and documentation for all media types.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic systems and networks.
• Handle fiber-related tasks including termination, fusion splicing, and testing following NEC.
• Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality service to customers.
• Document work performed at each customer site.
