Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking a Fiber Splicer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic systems across a multi-state Northeast region. The role requires frequent travel, overnight work during off-peak hours, and on-call weekends to support emergency restoration.

Candidates should have 2+ years splicing fiber, experience with fusion splicers, OTDRs, and fiber identifiers, and be comfortable working at heights and from bucket trucks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience splicing all types of fiber optic cables.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience reading fiber schematics and maps.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic systems.
• Splice fiber and terminate cables in equipment racks.
• Work with project managers to perform fusion splicing and read designs.
