Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of fiber optic splicing experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with fusion splicers, OTDR, and optical power meters.
• Must have color vision and ability to read design maps.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work at heights.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic system.
• Route, splice and terminate fiber in equipment racks.
• Read design maps and fiber schematics.
• Operate aerial lift and related equipment.
• Be on-call for emergency restoration.
• Complete required company documentation for each assignment.
• Travel as needed for projects and assignments.
