Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking a Fiber Splicer to join our crew as a traveling role across the Northeast. This position requires frequent overnight travel and extended periods away from home, with local assignments being the exception.

Responsibilities include splicing in various environments, reading maps, and coordinating with project managers to meet deadlines while maintaining safety and equipment standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience splicing all types of fiber optic cables.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work from a bucket truck at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic systems.
• Read design maps and fiber schematics to plan splices.
• Route, splice, and terminate fiber in equipment racks and enclosures.
• Perform fusion splicing as directed and coordinate with project managers.
