The role involves reading blueprints, verifying parts to specs, tooling changes, daily inspections, and assisting with basic repairs while operating a fiber optic laser.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of related education is required.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of NC/CNC equipment.
• Read blueprints, job orders and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints to ensure correct fabrication.
• Observe and verify parts meet specifications.
• Perform tooling changes as needed.
• Carry out daily inspections and routine maintenance.
• Assist technicians with troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Prepare and stage parts for the next operation.
• Operate a fiber optic laser.
• Use Nesting software effectively.
