MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Laborer/Groundman to support aerial and underground construction projects. You will perform general labor, assist in fiber blowing operations, read maps and schematics, and help install conduit under the direction of foreman.

Qualifications

• Safety is a core part of daily work and quality is expected.
• Ability to read maps, diagrams and design schematics.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and operate tools safely.
• Practical experience with RF and Fiber infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches, unload materials and prep job sites with hand tools.
• Perform fiber blowing operations and install fiber in conduits.
• Read design schematics and maps for project builds.
• Move materials and operate vehicles under Foreman supervision.
• Climb poles safely with appropriate equipment.
