Job summary

TEKsystems seeks Cabling Technicians to support low voltage infrastructure projects in Western Massachusetts. You will pull, install, terminate, and support fiber optic cabling in large commercial and institutional facilities.

Ideal candidates have structured cabling and fiber experience and are seeking long-term project work with a growing team. This onsite role is based in Southwick, MA with a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• Experience with fiber optic and structured cabling on commercial projects.
• Cat5e/Cat6 and coax cabling experience preferred.
• Ability to read project drawings and install to standards.

Responsibilities

• Pull and install fiber optic cable in large buildings.
• Support structured cabling: Cat5e/6, coax, fiber.
• Assist with cable routing, labeling, testing, and terminations.
• Follow safety rules and maintain clean work areas.
• Read project drawings and adhere to specs.
