Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an entry-level technician to support internet installations in Worcester, MA and surrounding areas. The role focuses on installing and routing fiber cables, assisting with network equipment, and performing basic testing on residential sites.

You will read simple project drawings, maintain clean sites, and collaborate with experienced teams on active jobs. This contract position is onsite in Worcester with competitive hourly pay and standard benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position for technicians with basic installation skills.
• Ability to install fiber, coax, and ethernet wiring in residential environments.
• Ability to read and follow basic project drawings, layouts, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install and route fiber cables in residential environments.
• Assist with installation of network equipment.
• Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and basic testing.
• Read and follow basic project drawings, layouts, and instructions.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Support technicians and project leads on active job sites.
• Adhere to safety standards and company procedures.
