TEKsystems is seeking a motivated Low Voltage Technician to support commercial installation projects in the Newburyport, MA area. This onsite contract position offers growth in low voltage, structured cabling, and telecommunications across multiple high-profile sites.

Responsibilities include pulling and terminating Cat5e/6 and fiber, testing and troubleshooting, and reading installation blueprints. Travel to various project locations may be required; a strong work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in low voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, electrical, or related construction work

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure low voltage cabling in commercial environments
• Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling
• Label, test, and troubleshoot cable infrastructure
• Read and follow basic blueprints, drawings, and installation standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work alongside project teams to complete installations on schedule
