Job summary

Clearfield, Inc. is seeking a full-time production associate to prepare and assemble fiber optic cables and panels. You will follow work orders, drawings, and process instructions to ensure high-quality production outcomes.

You will apply quality guidelines, participate in cross-training, and support overtime as needed to meet shifting production demands while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and color distinction.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare fiber optic cables per work orders and drawings.
• Apply process instructions and quality guidelines to meet standards.
• Follow supervisor and team directions; communicate workflow status.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Meet labor/output requirements and track production output.
• Perform in-process and final inspections and correct issues.
• Cross-train across departments and support overtime as needed.
