Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, tapes, calipers and shop drawings.
• In-process quality inspection and issue reporting.
• Perform preventative maintenance at operator level.
• Load and route fiber assemblies per specs and color/numbering system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sub-assemblies and finished products to specified length, shape, and orientation.
• Assemble LAN Premise products using hand and air-powered tools.
• Identify tooling and hardware with setup docs or supervisor assistance.
• Record material, production, and quality control issues.
• Maintain 5S and clean work area; assist teammates as needed.
• Move materials safely using forklift or pallet jack.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; perform tests with Visual Fault Locator.
• Ensure fibers are loaded correctly and not kinked or damaged.
• Communicate with engineering for any issues.
