Job summary

Clearfield is hiring a Production Assembler in Minnesota to prepare bulk fiber optic cable for assembly and splice patch cords to exacting production standards. The role emphasizes following work orders, drawings, process instructions, and maintaining quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and teammates, cross-train across departments, and participate in continuous improvement while meeting shift requirements Monday through Friday,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
• Read, understand and follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and color discrimination.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare fiber optic cables to specification per orders.
• Perform in-process and final inspection to ensure quality.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Communicate workflow status with supervisor and team.
• Cross-train across departments as needed to support production.
