Job summary

Moog is seeking an Assembler/Tester for the Space and Defense Group in Highland Heights, Ohio. You will assemble fiber optic cables and transceivers, verify parts meet specifications and perform tests using inspection equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), good mechanical aptitude, accuracy with measurements, and strong English comprehension. Onsite 1st shift with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• Quality conscious with mechanical aptitude and good dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fiber optic cables and transceivers using hand tools and fixtures.
• Assemble complete units and verify parts meet specifications.
• Take precision measurements for proper fit of components.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies to ensure compliance with customer specs.
• Record test results and review pass/fail outcomes.
