Job summary

Meta seeks a Network Implementation Engineer - Project Manager responsible for leading fiber and ILA deployments across North America, delivering projects on time and within budget. You’ll coordinate partners, manage risks, and ensure alignment with internal teams, finance, and legal.

Strong vendor negotiation and budgeting skills are essential. The role entails collaboration with Network Development, Edge Network Deployment, and other stakeholders to drive efficient deployment and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience (completed before joining Meta).
• 2+ years of project management experience in telecom/utility construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in PM/Business or equivalent practical experience.
• PM expertise across large-scale projects.
• Experience negotiating with vendors/partners/contractors.
• Experience managing multiple cross-functional tasks with tracking and documentation.
• Understanding milestones for ILA and/or fiber construction projects.
• Microsoft Office proficiency with spreadsheet tools.

Responsibilities

• Project management of fiber construction and ILA projects across North America via direct and indirect management of partner vendors.
• Coordinate and manage build partners, engineering and construction firms, and project budgets to mitigate risk.
• Coordinate and manage ILA production and deployments across North America.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement long-term infrastructure build plans, considering timelines, ROW feasibility, and budget.
• Support ROW and permit acquisition process in conjunction with accelerated deployment schedules.
• Collaborate with Sourcing and Net/Dev on new project opportunities, potential partner or vendor identification, buildability and budgets.
• Receive new projects at the implementation stage via kickoff document with end-to-end requirements.
• Drive QA/QC of PM system updates and reporting.
• Deliver project deliverables to Meta cross-functional teams.
• Develop fiber acceptance and project closeout packages per Meta standards.
• Technical delivery and acceptance from vendors of fiber specs and OTDR traces.
• Work with finance to develop business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
