Job summary

Bluepeak in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, service, and repair its telecommunication networks, including fiber and HFC systems. You will work on-site, splice and activate fiber, troubleshoot outages, and support safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, two years in installation/repair, and certifications such as NCTI Master Technician and HFC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HFC or fiber networks required.
• Two years of experience in installation and repair preferred.
• NCTI Master Technician and HFC Certification completed.
• Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair telecommunication networks and components.
• Trouble-shoot and repair problems in HFC and fiber networks.
• Test and align components and equipment to optimize signals.
• Splice and activate fiber optic cables, nodes, transmitters, and receivers.
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency fiber restoration.
• Provide superior customer service and uphold safety standards.
