Job summary

Bigham Cable Construction, Inc. is seeking a Technician Fiber Installation to set up and maintain fiber optic networks. You will fix issues, ensure uninterrupted service, and keep operations running smoothly at customer sites.

Responsibilities include installing and configuring equipment, troubleshooting problems, and educating customers on usage. Candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone services.
• Install, setup and configure all equipment.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate customers on product and service usage.
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment; perform overtime, travel and on-call duties as needed.
