Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking an ISP Field Technician for a 6-month contract-to-hire role based in Phoenix, AZ. This hybrid, primarily field-based position includes one remote/home office day per week for reporting and administrative tasks.

Overtime-eligible hours apply, and on-call rotation may require evenings and weekends. You will support activation of customer services at data centers, troubleshoot outages, and document activities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a data center, ISP, or telecom field technician role (recent experience preferred).
• Familiarity with troubleshooting network outages and field diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Support activation of customer services at data centers and network sites.
• Troubleshoot outages, identify failed ports/equipment and remediate.
• Walkouts at data centers, capture GPS coordinates and photos for vaults/equipment.
• Document field activity and prepare reports for upload to OneDrive and distribution to vendors.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors and site technicians for installation and activation.
• Maintain patch panels and ensure cable management and labeling.
