Job summary

Metronet in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Construction Manager to lead assigned projects on-site. You will own budgets, schedules, and customer expectations while guiding the project team to on-time, cost-efficient completion.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, developing work plans, reporting progress to customers, ensuring permits and compliance, and maintaining strong communication with leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in construction management or engineering preferred.
• 10+ years telecom OSP design/construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of telecom construction, budgeting, scheduling, and cost reporting.
• Equivalent experience will be considered.
• Excellent business acumen and large project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and requirements for each project.
• Create and execute work plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead project management team and assign duties.
• Manage day-to-day operations to meet timelines and budget.
• Provide progress updates to customers and manage changes.
• Ensure compliance with permits and approvals.
• Communicate specifications and requirements to staff.
• Maintain regular communication with construction director and leadership.
• Represent Metronet professionally to customers.
• Pursue personal development and adhere to policies.
