Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Fiber Lead Technician to oversee fiber installation on a major hyperscale data center project in Burlington, Texas. This role leads a crew of installers, stays hands-on in the field, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications.

The Lead Technician will coordinate daily work assignments, monitor production, enforce quality standards, and serve as the primary point of contact between field teams and project leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fiber optic installation experience.
• Experience leading fiber installation crews.
• Strong background in OSP and ISP fiber deployments.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, fiber route documentation, and project specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification and fiber-related certifications.
• Experience with commissioning, turnover documentation, and quality audits.

This individual will lead a crew of fiber installers while remaining hands-on in the field, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications. The Lead Technician will coordinate daily work assignments, monitor production, enforce quality standards, and serve as the primary point of contact between field teams and project leadership.

Skills and Requirements
