Job summary

TeleWorld Solutions Inc. is seeking experienced Technical Leads to supervise field crews supporting nationwide data center deployments. You will coordinate daily activities, ensure installations align with drawings and standards, and serve as the primary on-site resource for safety, quality, and customer interface.

The role requires strong fiber and structured cabling expertise, leadership experience, willingness to travel, and the ability to mentor junior technicians in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center installation experience.
• Experience leading field crews in construction or mission-critical environments.
• Ability to travel extensively and support nationwide deployments.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Ability to pass client-required background screening, drug testing, and site onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities for technician crews.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and maintain schedule adherence.
• Ensure installations are completed according to drawings, customer standards, and quality requirements.
• Perform and oversee fiber optic and copper cabling installations, terminations, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct quality inspections and corrective action activities.
• Support field documentation, redlines, as-built records, and daily reporting.
• Enforce safety procedures, site requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate material needs, workforce requirements, and project priorities.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for field-related technical issues.

Overview

TeleWorld Solutions (TWS) is seeking experienced Technical Leads to supervise field crews supporting nationwide data center infrastructure deployments. Technical Leads serve as the primary onsite resource for crew coordination, productivity, installation quality, safety compliance, and customer interface activities.

The ideal candidate possesses strong fiber and structured cabling expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to direct multiple technicians in fast-paced data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities for technician crews.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and maintain schedule adherence.
• Ensure installations are completed according to drawings, customer standards, and quality requirements.
• Perform and oversee fiber optic and copper cabling installations, terminations, testing, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent field experience.
• 3+ years of structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center installation experience.
• Experience leading field crews in construction or mission-critical environments.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Ability to travel extensively and support nationwide deployments.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and work from ladders or elevated platforms.
• Ability to pass client-required background screening, drug testing, and site onboarding requirements.

Preferred

• ES-3J Certification or equivalent low-voltage credential.
• Data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical construction experience.
• Experience with ribbon fiber, mass-fusion splicing, OTDR testing, and optical-loss testing.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Additional OEM certifications from Corning, AFL, Legrand, CommScope, or similar manufacturers.
• Experience supervising multiple crews simultaneously.
• Familiarity with QA/QC programs, structured cabling standards, and commissioning requirements.
