Job summary

Openwork is seeking a skilled Fiber Laser Operator to work on-site in Oakwood, GA. You will operate fiber laser cutting equipment, create and modify CNC programs, and run laser jobs per specifications.

You will read blueprints and improve efficiency and material utilization through program optimization. First shift, competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating fiber laser cutting equipment.
• Previous experience with CNC programming.
• Ability to create, modify, and optimize CNC programs rather than simply operate pre-programmed jobs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

IN A FIBER LASER OPERATOR JOB, YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Operating fiber laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for production
• Setting up and running laser cutting jobs according to specifications
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
• Making program adjustments to improve efficiency, quality, and material utilization

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Previous experience operating fiber laser cutting equipment
• Previous experience with CNC programming
• Ability to create, modify, and optimize CNC programs rather than simply operate pre-programmed jobs
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
