PeopleShare by PROMAN in Hanover, MD is seeking a Fiber Laser Operator for the day shift. You will operate CNC fiber laser equipment, read blueprints, load materials, set up machines, and monitor production for quality.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED and have experience with CNC laser equipment, calipers, and micrometers. This temp-to-hire role offers overtime and benefits in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating CNC fiber laser equipment or similar metal fabrication machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Forklift experience and Lean/5S knowledge a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CNC fiber laser equipment to manufacture sheet metal components per specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Load materials, perform machine setups, and monitor production runs.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
• Identify and report quality concerns or nonconforming parts.
• Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety procedures and keep a clean, organized workspace.

Are you an experienced machine operator with a background in metal fabrication? We are seeking a Fiber Laser Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have experience operating CNC laser equipment and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment focused on quality and safety.

Fiber Laser Operator Responsibilities

• Operate CNC fiber laser equipment to manufacture sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and schematics.
• Load materials, perform machine setups, and monitor production runs.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures.
• Identify and report quality concerns or nonconforming parts.
• Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Fiber Laser Operator Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience operating CNC fiber laser equipment or similar metal fabrication machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform machine setup, inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
• Forklift experience, sheet metal fabrication experience, and Lean/5S knowledge are a plus.
