TEKsystems is seeking an Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Technician in El Paso, TX for a contract role focused on installing, maintaining, and expanding enterprise fiber infrastructure. You will work onsite to install, test, and troubleshoot fiber cabling, support network expansion, and document all records.

Collaboration with engineers, operations, and vendors is essential. The role requires knowledge of fiber optics, structured cabling, and field service experience, with a strong emphasis on safety

Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Technician

We are seeking an OSP Fiber Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and expansion of enterprise fiber optic infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in fiber optics, structured cabling, telecommunications, construction, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair fiber optic cabling and related infrastructure.

• Support network expansion projects, including conduit and cabling installations.

• Conduct site surveys, maintain documentation, and update network records.

• Monitor network performance and assist with outage response and maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
