Job summary

North Sky Communications, LLC is seeking a Technician Fiber Installation to set up and maintain fiber optic networks, ensuring uninterrupted service and customer satisfaction. The role involves significant travel and offers growth opportunities within the company.

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot equipment, educate customers on product usage, and handle on-call duties as needed. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone based on guidelines.
• Install, setup and configure all equipment.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.

Education
