Job summary

All Points Broadband is hiring a Fiber Installation Technician in Dublin, VA. You will install and repair fiber internet and voice services at customer homes, run wiring, test signal quality, and troubleshoot using company tools.

You’ll guide customers, work with other teams to resolve issues promptly, manage materials, and operate company vehicles and safety gear. The role requires a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with tools; prior telecom

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort with basic hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Proficient with MS Office and other job-related technology.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Install and repair fiber internet and voice services from first connection to signal check.
Run and maintain wiring at the home, including pre-connectorized fiber and Ethernet.
Test signal quality and troubleshoot with company tools and training.
Use hand tools and power equipment to install and repair fiber lines and wiring.
Explain services to customers and suggest products that fit their needs.
Coordinate with call center staff and leadership to resolve issues quickly.
Manage material logistics: load/unload trucks, track inventory, update systems.
Drive company vehicle; train on forklift operation.
Assist in training new team members.
