Job summary

Clearwave | Point Broadband is seeking Fiber Technicians to install and service customer equipment at client locations. You will also manage inventory of network assets and maintain professional conduct while delivering high-quality service.

We offer in-house training for candidates with basic technical skills. A clean driving record, ability to pass a background check and drug test are required. High school diploma or equivalent is expected, with 1–2 years in broadband preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years in broadband field preferred.
• Able to present technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends; able to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform new connects, reconnects, disconnects, upgrades, and downgrades.
• Install and relocate outlets; install/relocate converters and cable modems.
• Install interior and exterior wiring; connect peripheral equipment.
• Train customers on proper use of equipment; ensure proper signal levels.
