Job Overview

Prince Telecom is seeking multiple entry-level Fiber Optic Installation Technicians in the Reading, PA area to help us connect America! We provide paid training, a company vehicle, full benefits, and more.

Compensation

Pay: $16 - $22/hr+

Responsibilities

1. Install, troubleshoot, and repair fiber optic systems.
2. Set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONTs, routers, and switches.
3. Analyze and record test results by performing tests on company-issued and customer devices.
4. Interface with customers to identify and resolve issues.
5. Complete paperwork accurately and report/update work order status.
6. Customer service duties including greeting and interacting with customers professionally, reviewing requested services, and educating customers on product and service usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old
• Valid driver's license (Required)
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable working outdoors, in tight spaces, and in various weather conditions
• Experience with small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to travel locally, work extended hours, overtime, and weekends
• Able to lift, climb, and carry ladders
