Job summary

Bigham Cable Construction is seeking an Equipment Foreman to lead crews, operate and maintain heavy machinery, and ensure project timelines are met. You will support the Superintendent and help train crew members in safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. This role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• At least three years of related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
• Oversee and help with training of crew members
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
