Job summary

TEP Fiber is seeking a Field Technician in Charlotte, NC to join a small team focused on constructing and maintaining fiber routes. You will work outdoors, use hand tools, and operate light and heavy equipment as needed while supporting training for teammates.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–2 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 50% and ability to lift 75+ lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of experience and ability to take direction and learn from experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Dig holes and assist in laying and maintaining fiber routes.
• Operate hand tools and small equipment as needed at the job site.
• Carry out site prep, landscaping restoration and maintain safety standards per OSHA.
