Job summary

Forged Fiber 37 is seeking a Field Support Administrator in Chandler, AZ to plan, coordinate, and support construction projects related to restoration, maintenance, and deployment of outside plant fiber infrastructure. The role collaborates with Field Operations, Engineering, contractors, and project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will help manage multiple projects, monitor progress, verify safety and compliance, and provide status updates while aligning with company standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, engineering support, or project coordination.
• Experience with fiber deployments (FTTx, GPON) preferred.
• Proven experience managing construction projects.
• Knowledge of underground, buried and aerial fiber construction, specs and schematics.
• Familiarity with central office configurations, switching, routing preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction codes, regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Able to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Travel willingness 30–40%.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Field Operations and contractors to support project planning and restoration.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation through invoicing and completion.
• Ensure activities align with timelines, scope and standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify quality of work.
• Ensure compliance with designs, specifications and safety standards.
• Inspect OSP prints and construction activities for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Engineering to implement designs in the field.
• Review engineering prints, standards, and installation procedures.
• Provide field feedback to improve design and constructability.
• Review and approve contractor invoices for accuracy.
• Support contract compliance and vendor performance oversight.
• Track project costs and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate project records in applicable systems.
• Provide timely updates on status, risks and issues.
• Document deficiencies and corrective actions.
