Job summary

Forged Fiber 37 is seeking a Field Support Administrator to plan, coordinate, and support OSP fiber projects across Des Moines and surrounding areas. You will work with Field Operations, Engineering, and contractors to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery of projects.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to travel 30–40%. A related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in OSP/ISP construction, engineering support, or project coordination.
• Knowledge of fiber deployments (FTTx, GPON) and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Field Operations and contractors to support project planning, execution, and restoration efforts.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through invoicing/completion.
• Ensure activities align with timelines, scope, and company standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and verify quality of work.
• Review engineering prints, standards documentation, and installation procedures.
• Provide field feedback to improve design and constructability.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation in applicable systems.
