Job summary

The Drop Installer III role with Bristol Alliance of Companies in Hawaii requires a senior field technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot aerial and underground drops from the network to customer premises. You will mentor junior installers and uphold safety and customer satisfaction at all times.

Technical expertise in coaxial, fiber, and copper drops is essential, with strong problem solving, communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1.5–2 years of related experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain aerial and underground drop cables for residential and commercial customers.
Perform splicing, grounding, bonding, and signal testing on coaxial and fiber lines.
Troubleshoot and resolve service issues with minimal supervision.
Interpret blueprints, technical specs, and work orders.
Ensure installations meet safety standards and codes.
Use tools like signal level meters, OTDRs, and cable locators.
Document work via tickets and maintain inventory.
Mentor Drop Installer I/II on the team.
Explain installation processes to customers and answer questions.
Address escalated issues and assist with high-priority projects.
