VISIONARY COMMUNICATIONS LLC Gillette, Wyoming, is seeking a Fiber Construction Coordinator to oversee on-site fiber build projects across WY and MT. This full-time role requires coordinating field crews, managing schedules, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will maintain strong communication with project teams, document progress, handle invoicing alignment, and perform GPS-based fiber surveys.

• Ensure invoiced amounts reflect on-site progress and completed work.
• Survey fiber backbone or zones using GPS to document fiber locations.
• Make real-time design adjustments in the field as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-construction walkthroughs with utilities and contractors.

About this position

Job Title: Fiber Construction Coordinator (MT and WY)

Location: Within Northeast Wyoming or Montana service areas

Compensation: $31.94-45.44/hour, Final salary will be decided within the posted range commensurate with experience.

Visionary Broadband seeks a qualified individual to fill the role of Fiber Construction Coordinator. This full-time position will join the team at Visionary Broadband, one of the top internet service providers in the Rocky Mountain region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fiber optic construction projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Maintain a strong on-site presence to directly oversee daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide real-time direction to field crews.
• Manage pre-determined project plans, schedules coordinating closely with project management and field teams.
• Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring field crews and subcontractors are aligned with project goals.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety standards, quality expectations, and industry regulations.
• Conduct frequent site visits to verify work progress, ensure compliance with specifications, and uphold quality control standards.
• Monitor materials, equipment, and resources on-site to maintain project efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Act as the primary point of contact between field operations and stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing updates.
• Ensure that invoiced amounts accurately reflect on-site progress and completed work.
• Survey fiber backbone or zone using GPS to accurately document the location of our fiber infrastructure, whether underground or aerial.
• Make real-time design adjustments in the field as needed during on-site operations.
• Perform pre & post construction walkthroughs with local utilities and assigned contractors.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills and must be detail oriented.
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, as well as ability to quickly learn and work within proprietary computer applications.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard 8am-5pm Monday-Friday schedule, this could include occasional weekend work.
