Job summary

FiberTel, LLC is seeking a Construction Coordinator for our Sacramento location. You will provide administrative project support to the OSP-West Operations, including timecards, materials tracking, locates, reports, scheduling, and invoicing.

The role involves working with Construction Managers and coordinators to ensure project activities run smoothly. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in a construction coordination role, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years of experience in construction coordinator role or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong reasoning, problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook Email.
• Time management and project management skills.
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Works with a team of Construction Managers & other Coordinators to complete admin/field activities for OSP-West projects.
• Supports department with timecards, materials tracking, locates, daily reports, scheduling, cost control, change orders, vendor tracking, client billing, and paying invoices.
• Assists project team with bid documentation and bid reviews preparation.
• Meets productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and identifies work process improvements.
• Monitors expenses and implements cost-saving actions; updates field knowledge and division understanding.
• Enhances department reputation by owning new requests and adding value.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

About This Role

FiberTel is looking for a Construction Coordinator for our Sacramento location.

This position is responsible for providing administrative project support to the OSP-West Operations.

Pay: $28-34/hr, DOE.

What You’ll Do

• Works with a team of Construction Managers & other Construction Coordinators to ensure administrative/field activities are completed for OSP-West projects.
• Supports department with timecards, materials tracking, mark for locates, daily reports, scheduling, cost control, change-order tracking, vendor and subcontractor tracking, client billing, and pay invoices
• Assists Project Team with preparation of bid documentation and helps to prepare for bid reviews
• Meets work standards by following productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements as necessary
• Helps meet cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-savings actionsUpdates job knowledge by going to the field, participating in educational opportunities, getting to know/understand division.
• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $28.00/Hr. - USD $34.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
