Job summary

United Performance Metals (ONI Company) in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Laser Cutter Operator to set up and run fiber and CO₂ laser systems (Mitsubishi). You’ll load and align metal, read blueprints, and ensure precise cuts while maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a CO₂ laser in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and complete accurate basic measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fiber and CO₂ laser cutting equipment (Mitsubishi systems).
• Load, align, and secure metal materials for accurate, efficient runs.
• Interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications to plan each job.
• Measure output with tape measure, calipers, gauges and adjust machines to sustain quality and speed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support production goals.
