JWF Industries, Inc. is seeking an operator for the daily setup and operation of a Mitsubishi Fiber Plate Laser. You will also assist teammates, help with housekeeping, maintenance, and material storage to keep throughput on schedule.

Requirements include an HS diploma or equivalent and preferably 1 year of plate laser or CNC experience, plus familiarity with reading drawings and metal identification. Physical demands apply.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience operating plate lasers or CNCs preferred.
• Experience with Mitsubishi lasers is highly preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and identify metals.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures
• Load and unload materials to meet daily laser production needs
• Ensure production schedule follow through as allocated by the scheduling department
• Assist team members in processing division when production requires additional manpower to maintain throughput
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufacturer’s machine recommendations
• Perform machine alignment procedures and optic cleaning to keep equipment at peak operating performance
• Maintain material identification and traceability
• Perform weekly quality checks

These positions are responsible for the daily setup and operation of a Mitsubishi Fiber Plate Laser. The operator will also assist other machine operators with any of their daily duties including area housekeeping, maintenance work, and material storage.

• Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures
• Load and unload materials to meet daily laser production needs
• Ensure production schedule follow through as allocated by the scheduling department
• Assist team members in processing division when production requires additional manpower to maintain throughput

HS diploma or equivalent

Experience

• One year experience operating Plate Lasers or CNC machines preferred
• Previous work experience on Mitsubishi Lasers is highly preferred
• Ability to inspect flat laser cut parts with precision inspection equipment
• Work requires the demonstrated ability to read drawings
• Knowledge of and ability to identify different types of metals highly preferred
