Job summary

Buck's Communications, Inc. is seeking a Groundman or Class C Aerial Lineman to support fiber and copper placement in the Piedmont-Triad area of North Carolina.

The role involves building and maintaining overhead and underground infrastructure with fiber optic and copper cable. Responsibilities include pole setting, fiber placement, lash cable, rope and roller, pole pulling or installation, anchor and down guy installation, placing hardware, and underground cable pulling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug check.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday 7:00–4:00 with occasional Saturday work; overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Pole setting and fiber placement, lash cable (strand and overlash), rope and roller, pole pulling or installation, anchor and down guy installation, placing hardware, anchors, slack storage, terminals, duct rodding, jetting mule tape, and underground cable pulling.
• Maintain safety of the public and crew members at all times in the work area, adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations and standards directing road safety, flagging of traffic, sign and cone placement.
