Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an aerial crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials. You will provide tools and parts to the crew and help move bucket trucks and gear to job sites.

The position requires 18+ years old, US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to become a certified pole climber. Overtime, travel, and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed daily.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow per local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours duties as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
