Job summary

Headway Technologies in Milpitas, CA seeks a FIB Technician to support plating manufacturing engineering. You will assist with FIB process integration and metrology, prepare recipes, review procedures, and analyze defects.

The role is on-site in Milpitas with a Monday–Wednesday night shift and every other Thursday on 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. Requires an associate degree in electronics or industrial technology and two years in semiconductors, plus knowledge of SPC and FIB techniques.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics or Industrial Technology or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes and procedures (integration and metrology).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to the integration and metrology teams.
• Prepares, maintains, and sets up recipes to ensure efficient, consistent processes.
• Reviews and documents processes; collaborates with engineering to implement changes.
• Conducts defect analysis using FIB techniques.
• Expedites and dispositions prototype wafers in the integration/characterization area.
• Performs routine experiments, analyzes data, and suggests corrective actions.
• Maintains process controls using SPC and prepares charts/graphs.
• Assists with troubleshooting and solving basic process issues.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives and process qualification.
