Texans Together seeks a Family Group Decision Making (FGDM) Supervisor to lead the FGDM program, including Family Team Meetings and related conferences. You will manage referrals, staffing, documentation, and performance while centering family strengths, culture, dignity, and integrity in decision-making.

The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Family Support and requires strong leadership, collaboration with families and partners, and a commitment to equitable, trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Relevant experience considered in lieu of education requirement.
• Minimum five years’ experience in the child welfare field, including PAL/LPS or Foster Care.
• At least three years’ supervisory or management experience leading staff.

Responsabilités

• Supervise FGDM coordinators, facilitators, and staff; provide coaching and support.
• Oversee FGDM operations: referrals, assignments, workloads, and conference schedules.
• Ensure Family Team Meetings and conferences meet program requirements and timelines.
• Prepare families and youth for participation with a focus on hope-centered outcomes.
• Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive and equitable practices.
• Consult on complex cases, safety concerns, and facilitation barriers.
• Review plans and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Maintain procedures, workflows, and accountability measures for service delivery.
• Monitor performance data and compliance with policies and contracts.
• Prepare program reports, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
• Develop partnerships with community providers and track resources.
• Collaborate with families, staff, attorneys, courts, and providers to improve outcomes.
• Address concerns and complaints in a timely, solution-focused manner.
