• Maintain program spreadsheets, tracking tools, and monitoring reports.
• Review data accuracy within CONNECTIONS and other agency databases.
• Assist with foster child placements and ensure documentation.
• Collaborate with Intake Coordinators on new foster home openings and child placements.
• Monitor Homefinding records for completeness and accuracy.
• Support Homefinding team meetings and stakeholder trainings.
• Respond to foster parent concerns and emergencies with professionalism.
• Promote culturally responsive and family-centered practices.

Overview

The Homefinding Supervisor assists the Homefinding Manager in overseeing foster home recruitment, certification, recertification, and placement activities while ensuring compliance with ACS, OCFS, and agency regulations. This role provides supervision and support to Homefinding staff, manages reports and tracking systems, maintains accurate records and data, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders. The Homefinding Supervisor supports foster parent engagement, assists with child placements and emergencies, promotes culturally responsive practices, and helps ensure the effective operation of the Homefinding program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide weekly supervision and support to Homefinding staff conducting foster home studies and recertifications.
• Monitor compliance with ACS, OCFS, and agency regulations governing foster home approval and certification.
• Prepare and submit statistical reports and data analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and update critical program spreadsheets, tracking tools, and monitoring reports.
• Review and monitor data accuracy within CONNECTIONS and other agency databases.
• Assist with foster child placements and ensure timely completion of placement documentation.
• Collaborate with Intake Coordinators regarding new foster home openings and child placements.
• Monitor Homefinding records and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
• Support Homefinding team meetings, partner parent meetings, stakeholder meetings, and agency trainings.
• Respond to foster parent concerns and emergencies with professionalism and urgency.
• Promote culturally responsive and family-centered practices in service delivery.
• Serve as a liaison among Homefinding staff, foster parents, child welfare teams, and external stakeholders.

Position Type/Expected Work Hours

This is a full- time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday at assigned location. Work hours options are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

• Ability to travel to other Rising Ground Sites (if required )
