Job summary

The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati is seeking a skilled OB/GYN sonographer to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in Maternal-Fetal Medicine settings, following AIUM/ACOG guidelines. You will work under physician guidance, maintain patient records, and ensure equipment care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, RDMS in OB/GYN, and at least 1 year of high-risk OB/GYN experience. BLS for Allied Health certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Ultrasound training program.
• RDMS in Obstetrics and Gynecology required and maintain CE requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year in high risk or OB/GYN ultrasound.
• BLS for Allied Health Certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality study images and data with ultrasound equipment.
• Follow AIUM and ACOG testing protocols.
• Provide ultrasound guidance to physician during procedures.
• Assess patient needs and prepare for tests.
• Verify accuracy of supporting information for exams.
• Maximize workflow and assist others as needed.
• Complete safety and in-service requirements on time.
• Follow Infection Control policies.
