Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform clinical ultrasound exams, including OB studies, under established standards. You will operate ultrasound equipment and collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine providers to support inpatient high-risk pregnancies.

Requirements include AMA/JRCERT-approved education, 1 year OB ultrasound experience, ARDMS registration, Nuchal Translucency within 1 year, Fetal Echo credential within 3 years, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program, or equivalent experience according to IAC.
• 1 year OB ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS Registered should be obtained.
• Nuchal Translucency certification within 1 year of onboarding.
• Fetal Echo Credential within 3 years of onboarding.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities.
• Perform OB ultrasound studies for inpatient high-risk pregnancies under Maternal Fetal Medicine providers.
