Job summary

Sundance Institute is seeking a Festival Associate Manager, Transportation to help manage transportation operations for the Sundance Film Festival. The role reports to the Festival Manager, Transportation and is based in Boulder, CO with hybrid on-site duties.

The position runs from October 14, 2026 to February 12, 2027, requiring extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Strong leadership, logistics planning, and knowledge of the Boulder area are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in event transportation, production, operations, or related.
• Ability to drive a 16’ to 24’ box truck (over 10,000 lbs) with lift gates.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Develop training materials and schedules for volunteer shifts.
• Oversee setup/teardown of shuttle stops and signage.
• Coordinate transportation documents and manuals updates.
• Manage Transportation volunteers and provide direction and performance feedback.
• Support the Manager with other projects and tasks as needed.
