Job summary

Sundance Institute is seeking a Festival Coordinator, Recruiting to manage the full-cycle recruitment for the Sundance Film Festival team. The role includes sourcing, assessing, interviewing, onboarding, and ensuring inclusive hiring practices.

Based near Boulder, CO, this full-time temporary position combines remote work with onsite presence during peak periods, requiring occasional evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR, recruiting or similar experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to DEI.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer processes.
• Collaborate with Institute departments to guide recruitment activities.
• Ensure job descriptions are accurate, compliant, and inclusive.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS record updates.
• Comply with federal, state, and local hiring laws and guidelines.
• Prepare and issue new hire paperwork and changes for current staff.
• Coordinate trainings and orientations, including tech setup for new users.
• Support seasonal Festival onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Draft letters and communications, manage department inboxes.
